Leptospermum spectabile

We bought this tea tree as tubestock, just one little twig sticking up out of a tiny little pot. We knew it was a native, was supposed to flower and that it would attract the birds, what we didn’t know was how spectacular the flowers were going to be! As far as I can tell it doesn’t have a common name, so ‘pretty tea tree’ it is! And yes… the birds to love it too.
