With a face only a mother could love and manners to match, the Australia brush turkey is the scourge of manicured gardens everywhere… unless you like huge piles of mulch in the middle of your lawn… These structures they build in which to lay their eggs, and they are perfect incubators, keeping the eggs at a constant temperature. I imagine they would be invaluable in Autumn, when all the leaves need raking up…. Also known as the scrub turkey and the bush turkey…. and various other names which are impolite and I will not mention here.
