Butter Wouldn’t Melt 2018

When asked to come up with a mini exhibition for Michael Reid Murrurundi I knew exactly what I wanted to do…. a blue and white porcelain themed show. We have lots of very naughty possums where we live, but it is hard to be grumpy with them because when you catch them eating your roses they just turn and look at you with the big beautiful eyes and you just have to forgive them anything… so I knew exactly how I wanted to paint my possum… with a butter dish and a little innocent face…

Was a part of my Kinda Blue mini exhibition at Michael Reid Murrurundi
