When I first decided to turn my paintings into greeting cards, I figured that I would need to have a Christmas card, as that seems to be the one time of year that people still send cards. In this region we have a lovely tiny little bird, the mistletoebird, with his lovely red chest with black streaks, who is the main distributor of the mistletoe plant, as he eats the berries and then while sitting innocently on another tree branch in another tree… distributes the seeds… if you catch my meaning. How much more Christmasy could you get than that!
