This was my first failed attempt at entering a painting in the very prestigious Archibald Prize at my former workplace, the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Although it didn’t rate a mention, I am still very pleased with how it turned out… although it was my first failed attempt, it certainly won’t be my last….
My bold friend, staring straight at the viewer is a pacific black duck. No wild ducks were cuddled (unfortunately) in the making of this painting.
